Man down!! Just a few days after Jake Owen had his wisdom teeth pulled, he took a nasty spill and broke his collar bone snowboarding in Colorado! He will have to re-schedule a couple show as he is set to undergo surgery tomorrow (1/17) to help it heal correctly. Jake told his fans about the incident on twitter last Friday and tweeted today that his doctor said Jake's injury is worse than some football injuries he has seen! Ouch!!
Trace Adkins' latest movie role is in a western called "Wyatt Earp's Revenge". The film also stars Val Kilmer and Diana DeGarmo, and based on the murder of Wyatt's first love, Dora. Trace says recording and touring is still his main priority, and even though he enjoys acting it's a hobby, not a full time gig. Look for Wyatt Earp's Revenge on DVD March 6th.
We're getting closer to finding out who will be playing in the Super Bowl this year! We know for sure that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will be there. They'll be singing "America The Beautiful" just before Kelly Clarkson sings the National Anthem before kickoff in Indy, February 5th. Oh yeah, Madonna will perform at halftime.
